22 Changing Plans

What is Change Plan?

Change Plan is where you move your online induction account to a bigger or smaller plan, or switch between monthly, half-yearly and yearly billing. Compare the plans side by side first, and see exactly what you gain or lose before you confirm. Upgrades start straight away; downgrades wait until your renewal date.

Rules to know

  • Who: only the Account owner and Administration Users can change the plan or buy add-ons. If someone else does it, the Account owner gets an email.
  • Card first: you need a saved card before you can confirm a paid plan.
  • Upgrades start now: you’re charged for the new plan from today, and the unused part of your old plan comes back as a credit on your account.
  • Downgrades wait: a lower plan is booked for your renewal date. You keep everything on your current plan until then, and nothing is charged today.
  • Changed your mind? A booked change shows on a banner with a Withdraw button. Picking another plan replaces the booking.
  • Current plan: while your subscription is active, you can’t pick the plan and term you’re already on.
  • Billing terms: you can move to a longer term (monthly to half-yearly or yearly), but not to a shorter one. Lite is monthly only.
  • Cancelling: choosing the free STANDARD plan ends your paid plan on your renewal date.
  • Features switched off: before you confirm, the app lists anything the new plan doesn’t include. It’s switched off when the new plan starts.
  • Free trial: the trial lasts 30 days. Choosing any plan during the trial starts it straight away.
  • Add-ons: Extra Admins, Extra Sites, video packs and SMS credits are for Team plans and above. Moving to Lite cancels your add-ons at the end of the billing month.
  • Prices: in AUD, plus GST.

What you’ll need

The plans

Every plan is billed monthly, half-yearly or yearly (Lite is monthly only). Longer terms cost less per month. Prices per month, plus GST:

  • Lite: $80 monthly. 1 site, no extra admins, no SMS invites.
  • Team: $180 monthly, $171 half-yearly, $162 yearly. 1 site, 1 extra admin, 20 SMS invites.
  • Team Plus: $360 monthly, $342 half-yearly, $324 yearly. 3 sites, 3 extra admins, 100 SMS invites.
  • Team Pro: $660 monthly, $627 half-yearly, $594 yearly. 5 sites, 9 extra admins, 400 SMS invites.
  • Enterprise: $960 monthly, $912 half-yearly, $864 yearly. 9 sites, 15 extra admins, 800 SMS invites.

Half-yearly and yearly plans are paid up front for the whole term. Show plan details lists everything else each plan includes.

Pick a new plan

  1. Click the gear icon, top right.
  2. Click Change Plan.

  1. Under a plan, click Show plan details to see what’s included.

  1. To see every plan side by side, click Compare plans, top right.

  1. Click the orange Select button under the plan you want.

Your plan is marked Current and has no Select button. A note under Select tells you when a downgrade would start.

Confirm the change

  1. Read the summary: what you unlock, or which features will be switched off.
  2. Tick I agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  3. Click the orange Confirm change button.

No card saved yet? You’ll see an orange Add new card button first.

Booked changes

A downgrade or cancellation shows a Plan change booked banner on Change Plan and Account Summary. It names the new plan, its price and the date it starts.

  1. To keep your current plan, click Withdraw on the banner.
  2. Click Withdraw in the pop-up box.

Add-ons and SMS credits

On Team plans and above you can add more without changing plan:

  • Extra Admins and Extra Sites: $90 each per month, plus GST.
  • Video packs: 10 more videos for $20 per month, plus GST.
  • SMS credits: packs of 50 for $9.90 including GST. They’re used after your monthly SMS invites run out, and expire 3 months after you buy them.

Adding more is charged now for the rest of the billing month. Taking some away, or cancelling, happens at the end of the billing month.

  1. Click the gear icon, then Account Summary.
  2. Under Plan details, click Buy more next to Registration Portals, Active Additional Admins, SMS Invites or Videos.

Done! What happens next

  • An upgrade starts as soon as you confirm, and your new features switch on straight away.
  • A downgrade starts on your renewal date. Until then the banner shows what’s booked.
  • Your new invoice appears on Invoices.
